Newmarket Community Centre/Arena
The arena at the Newmarket Community Centre is primarily used for public skating. The halls and rooms at the centre are often utilized for meetings but can also be rented for weddings, banquets, parties and other special events.

Newmarket Youth & Recreation Centre and Kinsmen Sk8park
This recreation centre provides social and recreational programming for local youth and their families throughout the year. Visitors can participate in sports programs, fitness classes, dance and band nights. There is also a 930 sq m (10,000 sq ft) skate park onsite featuring ledges, rails, stairs, grips, ramps and more.

Gorman Pool
Open from the end of June until September, the Gorman Pool is a popular spot to cool off in the summer. There are tennis courts adjacent to the pool and these are transformed into an ice-skating rink in winter.

Ray Twinney Recreation Complex
Home of the Newmarket Hurricanes, the local Junior A hockey club, the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex features two arenas, a swimming pool, a tot pool, a whirlpool and a sauna. There are also three hall available for rental. The grounds surrounding the complex include a football field, soccer pitches and a baseball diamond.
